Some days ago, CBSE has released a notice regarding UGC NET 2017. So it has announced that UGC NET will be held on 19th November 2017. The UGC NET application form will be filled from 1st August. CBSE will release the complete details regarding UGC NET Exam on 24th July 2017. So candidates who are interested in appearing in UGC NET November 2017 can fill the application form from 1 August on the official website- cbsenet.nic.in

Many people would have known that from the next year, UGC-NET will be conducted only once in a year. So this is the last time when it is going to be organized 2nd time in a year. So 2017 will be the last year.

System of UGC NET


National Eligibility Test which is conducted by CBSE on the behalf of UGC (University Grants Commission) consists of three parts. The Paper -1 is the general paper with multiple choice questions. The paper 2 and paper 3 are from the subjects which you have chosen. No negative marks for all papers.

UGC NET Paper I
                This paper is based on the Teaching and Research Aptitude. This test is for determining your capabilities in these prime areas. And also some cognitive abilities are tested through this paper. This paper carries 100 Marks. In this paper, multiple choice type questions from Teaching Aptitude, Mathematical Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, Communication. You will be given 60 questions. So you are required to attempt only 50 questions. Each question carries 2 marks. For passing the UGC NET, you need to score minimum 40% Marks.

UGC NET Paper II
             This paper consists of 50 objective type question papers. All the questions are compulsory. The paper will be based on the subject which is chosen by the candidate. Each question carries two marks. You need to score minimum 40 marks out of total marks (100) in this paper to crack UGC NET.


UGC NET Paper III
                  In this paper, 75 objective type questions will be asked which will be based on the subject which is elected by Candidate. The candidate has to score minimum 50% marks. Each question carries 1 mark.

So you have checked out the Exam Pattern of UGC NET. So you should work on the preparation of UGC NET. CBSE will release the UGC NET Application Form 2017 on 1 August 2017. So you can submit your application form till 30th August.
